“hi all, i dont really see what the fuss is with these i bought the grey ones thinking they would be the same colour as in factory fit, but were much darker. so i sent them back. mx5 parts were great about this i have to say . :-) so i took my plain old plastic ones off primed them painted them and then so clear gloss lacquer . all from halfords for £18 they look great , so think before you buy.”

“I bought these because I have fitted the chrome trims to the seatbelt guides and the tops of the seatbelt slots. The chrome was not a good match for the standard satin finish for the rollover bars and I did not want the chrome bar covers, preferring a more subtle finish.The paint match is excellent, and the quality is too. As a genuine Mazda part, there were no issues with fitting. Just be careful not to drop the retaining screws when removing and refitting them. They would be very hard to recover if they fell into the void under the rollover bars.All in all, a very good product that looks better than the standard satin covers. As usual, delivery was very prompt and the packing was excellent.”

“Excellent quality and colour match (mine are in 'winning blue' metallic) - whilst some chrome is nice, it can be overdone and these look really good! Contrary to the earlier review I did not find these very easy to fit. They plastic snap clip together (the rear coloured part is held in place with 2 screws), but there's foam and shaped plastic inside to give a VERY tight fit around the steel roll over bar itself. If you're not confident (they're expensive if you damage them), budget for an extra £20 to get your local friendly dealer to pop them on! The fitting of these is certainly superior to the 'stick on' variety though in my opinion. If you've got the standard black plastic covers, these should certainly be given serious consideration. I take off 1 star as they're quite pricey and for the fitting. As usual, well packed and speedy delivery from MX5 Parts.”
