“Excellent product albeit a little expensive for what you get hence 4 stars. Adds a touch of class to otherwise rather plain door handles which have recesses in them anyway looking for something to fill them. Fairly straightforward to fit if you follow the enclosed instructions and thoroughly clean and de wax/grease the surfaces beforehand. I also used a hair dryer to warm the handles up nicely before the final sticking on and be very careful to leave the minute gap between the two parts so they don’t catch when the door handle is pulled out to open. Look good and just add that little bit more detail missing from the original.”

“I gave these a 4 star review for 2 reasons. 1) expensive item for what you get 2) Not as shiny chrome as picture suggests. However. They are easy to fit and look fantastic on my MX5 Kuro ( Pearl white with black roof and wheels etc) If you want to add a nice finishing touch then yes if your happy to pay ú70 for chrome finish get these . The Mazda ones are worth extra as they fit perfectly. No need for any glue if you clean handles properly and warm area with hairdryer.”

“Ridiculously expensive for what they are. On opening, the extortion is palpable! Having said that, I could no longer bear the sight of the empty door handle recesses. Before fitting do a few dry runs. Fit the thin end first, right up to to recess margin using the pinch of one hand, while aligning the thicker end with the pinch of the other hand. They are now stuck solid. Saving up for the other side bits, 'repeater covers' and wing mirror trim. This bling is an expensive business. Perhaps MX5 parts could do something on price by offering chrome upgrade 'packages' (Rear, front, side, interior etc). Multiple items at discounted cost. A suggestion.”

“purchased the genuine Mazda chrome ones for a launch edition restoration project - whilst they are from Mazda, they are not the same size as original ones (they are 2mm longer) and they are nowhere near as shiny - I regret removing the old ones as though they had a few scratches they looked much better than the new ones. They also have very sharp edges. Its a shame when even Mazda can't produce stuff as good as they did 10 years ago!”

“Great service again from mx5 parts , everything I order I get within 48 hrs , anyway love this easy to fit I always use a little gorilla glue as find the 3m tape is OK fairly sticky but all the chrome products need a little help , makes my Nc look fab slowly getting more parts to bling my galaxy grey 5 looking more stylish , again why did Mazda not put more chrome on factory fitted cars .. Costing me a fortune so many nice bits !”

“Ok so here's my review.I have bought many chrome parts for my black MX5 MK3from MX5 parts. When I received these door handles in the chrome finish I thought these don't look much and they are expensive. I took a lot of time preparing the handles and fitting these trim parts on. You really need to take your time when placing the trim because you only get one hit! the tape is very adhesive. WOW WHAT A TRANSFORMATION! to the side view of the car. Looks beautiful and should of been fitted as standard by Mazda, they look quality and I would buy the Mazda genuine fittings. These handle trims look superb with the chrome quarter window trims and mirror trims. Ensure you take your time lining up the 2 fittings. I would say this is the best piece of chrome trim I have bought for the MX5 they really enhance the look of the car. Well worth the £60.00 a must have! go and buy this now. Thank you MX5 parts. 5 stars”

“Just an update having had these on the car for a few days, the chrome effect is not as bright and shiny as the product picture shows. I asked MX5parts shout this as I thought there may be a protective film over them ( although I couldn't see one ) they confirmed there is no film and that that is how they look. Compared to my other chrome accents these are definitely not as shiny but TBH they do lift the appearance of the door handles regardless. I have reduced to four stars though as for the price I expected better.”
