“Came extremely quickly, along with another item I had purchased. Clear instructions on how to fit it. Took absolutely no time at all. Bolts were a bit rusty tight but in all, took about 10 minutes to fit. Whilst it is definitely secure within its fitting, behind the 10mm bolts, I wouldn't say it was exactly snug and there is movement once fitted as it is not attached at the bottom at all; but this I don't think is a problem, more an observation.If you're getting this for 'bling,' prob best to go for the chrome/silver versions as this one is very discreet and sits far back in the recess of the bumper, so you can't see it really. I got it for radiator protection which I'm sure it will give.”

“Neat - gives some protection to the radiator but not too obtrusive looking from outside the car.I agree with another reviewer, wear some gloves I also cut my finger - my own clumsiness when I turned one screw too much and finger cut into the hard plastic body.”

“Great product and very easy to fit. Only took 5 minutes to fit but did treat the bolts with wd40 a few hours before fitting the grill. Fantastic service and grill looks great.”

“Fits perfectly on my MK1, a 10 minute job, the most difficult part was to remove the two rusted screws in order to fix the grille. Using some WD40 helps a lot!! Sorry for my bad english ;)”

“Excellent delivery, and the grille is an easy and good fit. The only criticism - the instructions supplied are PATHETIC! An A4 piece of paper in German, and an offcut of paper with some instructions missing because of poor photo-copying - both were of very poor print quality. Fortunately the fitment is easy and just commom sense required. I suggest that some good quality digital pictures, printed correctly, would be more useful. I want to use this company again, I just hope other products have better instructions supplied.”

“Bought to replace what I assume was the OEM grille on my 2005 Icon, as it was bent and quite frankly rotton. The only difficulty I had was removing the old grille, which took about an hour due to rusty screws and brackets.This grill sits further back than the one that was on previously, so much so you can't really see it. I chose black as I have a black car and don't like the 'shiny grille bling' look, so the fact it sits further back is a bonus. To note though; I have a few holes and bits to clean up from removing the old grille which are now visible.The two bolts are easy to locate with a socket extension or a spanner. It's probably a good idea to put a bit of grease on the bolts when putting them back on. The hand drawn instructions which were supplied with the grille however, left a lot to be desired. Assuming you don't run into any problems you are looking at about 10 minutes to fit.While I think the item is of a good quality and I had no problems, I think it is a little overpriced. All-in-all, very impressed. Great service and delivery from mx5parts as usual.”
