Hi Isabel, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review :) The chain shown on the Durga pendant is the same size as the belcher chain you received but because the product image is close up, it does appear larger. We try to include multiple images of the necklace to display the size and the chain dimensions can be found within the product description (chain width: 1mm).
