“We ordered the Dovetail House bundle plus the nursery set, for a 3rd birthday present. The price was quite high (Mulberry Bush was the lowest we could find online for Dovetail House) but it was worth every penny!! The whole order arrived within a couple of days. The dolls house was flat packed so that we could leave it in the hall and it did not attract comment. We put it together the night before, which was fiddly but not difficult. The house is delightful. The detail is stunning - opening shutters, opening windows, wooden floors, solid wood stairs...... - and the quality excellent. The house, however, pales into insignificance against the room sets. Beautifully made and so much detail! A bookshelf with little wooden books all different colours, a couple of vases and a pet bird. There is a fireplace with a grate and 4 wooden logs. So many quirky details. We ordered the nursery set as an extra and it is brilliant - a pram with wheels that turn, a baby with a knitted babygro and hat - just so special. The icing on the cake for our little one was that on opening the boxes (each room set comes in a separate box) every item was wrapped separately, she was in birthday heaven. One word of warning - the unwrapping creates a huge amount paper so be sure to shake out each piece before consigning it to the recycling as the tiny parts did have a habit of hiding themselves in the wrappings. The proud owner has played with it for most of the 24 hours that she has been in residence. Buy it. You cannot begin to imagine how much pleasure it will bring for years to come. PS We held back the kitchen and bathroom room sets till Christmas because there was just so much in the bundle but we see that as a good thing because it will refresh the house at no extra cost.”

“The dolls house was sent to my son and daughter-in-law to construct for my 3 year-old granddaughter's Christmas present. They had no trouble, all the bits having arrived safe and sound. She was delighted with it and, although it is pricey (even if the bundle is cheaper than the individual sets), I'm hoping it will last her for years. I was so pleased to find a product that wasn't PINK!”
