About Mooncup:

Mooncup began with a clear goal: to give people a healthier, sustainable way to manage their periods.

Back in 2002, we launched the world’s first medical-grade silicone menstrual cup, pioneering a movement that put health and the planet first. We saw an industry where profit came before people, ingredients were hidden, and plastics reigned, so we challenged the status quo.

Now, we're on a mission to become the world’s biggest sustainable period care brand. We’ve just launched Mooncup period pads into Sainsbury’s, Boots, Holland & Barrett and Look Fantastic. We’re also partnering with workplaces, gyms and hotels (like Canva, Danone, Third Space, Gymshark and Claridge’s) to offer free period care in bathrooms.

We use only science-backed, body-safe ingredients because your period products should work with your body, not against it.

Very easy to use once you know how! Better for the environment. Would be amazing if they came with 1 reusable pantliner (just in case) while you are getting used to it.

It does the job somewhat, but I can't really use this product without also using a sanitary pad. I find that the cup doesn't actually prevent any leaking even if it's not full. So I use it, but only if I'm also using pads with it.

Hi Jessica, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We’re sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing leakage when using your Mooncup menstrual cup. If you wanted to explore this further the best thing would be to get in touch directly with our friendly Advice Service, run by medical health professionals, at advice@mooncup.co.uk. They will be able to run through some questions with you to see why this may have been happening and from there can provide tailored support to help
the cup is amazing in itself, but i’m so upset i can’t use it, would definitely recommend getting, i definitely will give it another go as it’s such a great product but it’s definitely worth the buy

works well for me! way more convenient, less likely to get TSS due to my own incomptenancy- seems good to me! but if you're someone that doesn't always get on well with tampons id definitely say inserting and extracting a cup is worse than a tampon. apparently they get softer over time though.

super easy to insert, remove, and clean, and it's made my cramps loads better!

I've been using the Mooncup for 8 months now and not gonna lie, it's been a steep learning curve. There are good periods and there are bad ones when I just can't get it right. Sometimes it leaks, sometimes it doesn't. Every time I take it out, I tell myself that I don't have to put it back in if I don't want to. But I always do. It's the feeling of freshness and cleanliness, the lack of foul smell and the nonexistent pad-getting-stuck-to-my-thighs that do it for me.

I’m never going back to pads or tampons, the moon cup has changed my life! I absolutely love it. I did have to cut off the entire stem in order for it to be comfortable for me though.

Very highly recommend. Using a Mooncup has made my period much more comfortable both physically and emotionally. It only took one or two cycles to get used to inserting and removing the cup, which was my main worry, and the technique is now second nature. During my cycle I feel cleaner and I'm free to do anything without worry of leaks- you really just forget you're wearing it.
