“I have found the mooncup to be really useful to use whilst at work, as a teacher it can be difficult to find time to go to the toilet to change sanitary products in the busy school day especially when I teach for 3 hours in a row! With the mooncuo I don't have to worry about leaking or rushing to the toilet- I can comfortably keep it in all day with no issues. Unfortunately, I did damage my mooncup when sterilising it in boiling water because I fell asleep and forgot to turn my hob off, but this was my fault completely and I am buying another one before my next cycle”

“I love using my moon cup. naturally I was a little nervous never having used one before but it didn't take long to get used to it and putting it in was way easier than I imagined. “I love the concept of the mooncup, it feels more hygienic, it's better for the environment, it's much cheaper in the long run, it was fine to use when asleep, no spilling etc. There are so many positives. However for me, it pushed up against my bladder in a way that made me feel like I needed to pee constantly, and very desperately, despite having not had much to drink yet. I will keep going with using this to see if this is something my body can get used to, but currently the first couple of days in each cycle are uncomfortable just from feeling like I need to pee!”

“Honestly, so much better than I ever expected! About 4 years ago, someone reccommended Mooncups to me, and I thought 'Ew no, messy, what a pain, how would it even work?'. Now, years later, and hearing of an aquaintence getting toxoplasmosis from a tampon that had barely been in for 4 hours, I finally bought one. I got it a few months ago, and I can honestly say that I will NEVER go back to tampons/pads. I wish I had tried them sooner. Not only are they resuable, better for the environment, and safe, but they also don't smell, and are surprisingly easy to clean and use (once you get used to it, which only took me one period). I can keep it in my bag ready for any emergencies, and I know that with one in, I'm safe for hours! And no risk of toxoplasmosis to boot!! Another plus, I always found that tampons dried me out (of course, because they draw in moisture) so removing them at the ends of periods became painful and could leave tiny pieces up that that caused irritation. The fact that Mooncups are silicon mean that they do not interrupt moisture at all. They are always easy and pain free to insert and remove. And for anyone wondering, after a few used and provided you put it in correctly, you can't even tell that the Mooncup is there. I love it! I did have a leakage in my first night, but that's because I hadn't put it in properly. I looked on the web for tips and they helped a lot (specifically feeling around the rim to make sure it's fully expanded). I will say one thing though, if you have a pet, they CAN smell them (even if I cant). Stored in its pouch and within my handbag, my cat clawed at my handbag to get it. And another time, actually did manage to get his paws on it and chewed holes in it through the pouch. (I know, ew, but he's a cat). So I had to order another, and I make sure to keep it extra safe (double bagged)! So yes, in my opinion, a product I will continue to use for the rest of my menstrual life. I have even recommended it to family and friends who have now switched to Mooncups too. Flawless, 5 stars! Thank you Mooncup!!”

“Clear instructions on how to use the Mooncup. Took me a couple of go's during my first period to find the most comfortable method to insert it and now its become second nature. It sits really comfortably and even on heavy period days, I've had no surprising leaks. Would really recommend Mooncup not only for the environmental impact but for the comfort and leak-proof reassurance it provides for each period.”

“Absolutely love the Mooncup. Lots of my friends have used these for years but I'd always been hesitant to try it out and spent years using tampons with a lot of excess waste (i.e. packaging). Finally I decided to give it a go and it was the best decision ever! It took a little bit of trialling to get the it to the right fit (snipping away at the stem until it was comfortable) but this was easy enough to do. It's super comfortable and you completely forget that it's there once it's in. It's easy to insert and though it can be a bit daunting initially to take it out, I soon got the hang of it and wouldn't go back to other sanitary products now! All of the information on the website is really helpful and I'd thoroughly recommend having a good read through it all before using the Mooncup so you feel confident on the different ways of inserting and removing it. I have spoken to friends about how great it is and even convinced a few of them to make the switch! It's much less wasteful, way more hygienic and has saved me money (and will continue to do so as they last for so long!). 100% recommend!”

“I recommend mooncup! It has changed my life and how I feel about periods. However I had trouble with it leaking at first but I researched and found out that normal with first timers, you just need to play around with foldings and positioning.”
