About Mooncup:

Mooncup began with a clear goal: to give people a healthier, sustainable way to manage their periods.

Back in 2002, we launched the world’s first medical-grade silicone menstrual cup, pioneering a movement that put health and the planet first. We saw an industry where profit came before people, ingredients were hidden, and plastics reigned, so we challenged the status quo.

Now, we're on a mission to become the world’s biggest sustainable period care brand. We’ve just launched Mooncup period pads into Sainsbury’s, Boots, Holland & Barrett and Look Fantastic. We’re also partnering with workplaces, gyms and hotels (like Canva, Danone, Third Space, Gymshark and Claridge’s) to offer free period care in bathrooms.

We use only science-backed, body-safe ingredients because your period products should work with your body, not against it.

Mooncup Period Pants. These are high absorption pants that absorb up 10 tampons worth of flow. They're leak proof and are suitable for heavy periods. Pricewise they're quite expensive for 1 pair however they are reusable and can be washed mulitple times. They come in either low or high fit. I ordered them for my wife and she says they're comfortable to wear whilst being discreet. She's tried other brands in the past but says these are the best that she's tried.

This pair of absorbent pants are ideal for the days where you’re thinking “Am I done yet?” - when you’re light, but don’t feel confident going without protection, just incase it all suddenly goes downhill. They’re also ideal for women like myself who have an unpredictable cycle – I can wear these and not have to worry about my random spotting catching me out. Wearing these pants saves me lots of money because I don’t have to keep using pads on light days just to protect my underwear. It also saves loads of single-use plastic waste as well. I’ve only rated it down because these pants are quite bulky – I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it does feel a little like wearing a nappy. When wearing them, I can physically feel the bulk of the absorbent pad pressing on my skin, and it’s not nice to be so aware of it. I can also hear some crinkling noise from the pad when wearing it. Personally, that's why I prefer to wear these at night – that way I’m not hyper-aware of the extra bulkiness, and it gives me so much peace of mind. The absorbency of light flows and spotting is excellent, but I haven’t tested it on a heavy flow. I ordered a size 10, and it was true to size for what I’d normally order for underwear. 2 people found this helpful

I picked up these Mooncup Period Pants for my wife to use during her time of the month, and she’s been really impressed with them. She finds them very comfortable to wear, with a soft fabric that feels gentle against the skin. The fit seems true to size and they aren’t bulky, so they sit discreetly under clothes without feeling like wearing padded underwear. The absorbency is excellent, they hold a serious amount of liquid and have given her confidence overnight, knowing she won’t wake up to any accidents. They wash very easily and come out looking fresh, with no issues after several washes so far, which suggests good durability. While these are a little more expensive than some alternatives, the quality, comfort, and reliability make them feel worthwhile. They’ve proven effective both during the day and at night, giving peace of mind and making that time of the month easier to manage.

Having tried a few period pants, these are top tier! * Very good quality fabric * Comfy to wear * Excellent absorbency * Fully leak-proof Wearing these I have complete confidence to get on with my day. They're not cheap at all, but they are very good and, in the long term, worth the investment.

Got these for my teen daughter - who’s got several different brands of period knickers, and she’s liking these the best. Comfortable to wear - don’t feel like granny knickers (her words lol), yet super absorbent and don’t leak. She’s worn these all day at high school and didn’t even worry about leaking at all. They are expensive - but they wash well, and do the job they are supposed to do. Might be a little expensive for one pair - so will have to spread the cost of getting her some more, but are the best ones she’s got, and she wants more of these now.
