About Mooncup:

Mooncup began with a clear goal: to give people a healthier, sustainable way to manage their periods.

Back in 2002, we launched the world’s first medical-grade silicone menstrual cup, pioneering a movement that put health and the planet first. We saw an industry where profit came before people, ingredients were hidden, and plastics reigned, so we challenged the status quo.

Now, we're on a mission to become the world’s biggest sustainable period care brand. We’ve just launched Mooncup period pads into Sainsbury’s, Boots, Holland & Barrett and Look Fantastic. We’re also partnering with workplaces, gyms and hotels (like Canva, Danone, Third Space, Gymshark and Claridge’s) to offer free period care in bathrooms.

We use only science-backed, body-safe ingredients because your period products should work with your body, not against it.

I found this one harder to put it as it is softer than the other I have tried but at the same time it is easier to clean and comfortable to wear.I would give 5 stars if not for the time it takes me to put it in.

Personally I think we should all have one of these saves money and great fit the environment, this particular one is well made very nice and soft easy to use obviously if it’s your first time do a bit of research into how to use it medium was ordered here as the listing suggested it was for my daughter who has not had any children but is sexually active it fits perfectly it’s great it means you don’t have to fast around with which flow you need it’s just great don’t be concerned by the little pop noise that you may hear it’s all good

So I’ve always wanted to try a period cup as sanitary products are so expensive. I don’t like tampons because I can feel them so I had high hopes for this with it being made out of a soft silicone.I ordered a size medium because I figured if I have problems with tampons then a medium would be the way to go.The first couple of times using it is tricky. It takes some practice and getting used to. But once you get the hang of putting it in and taking it out then you’re good to go.It doesn’t leak and is comfortable to wear to the point you forget it’s even there. And you can even have a bath in it and go swimming in it!It does make an odd ‘pop’ sound when it releases which is a bit disconcerting in the beginning but it’s just the seal that gripped you releasing and not anything more sinister! It’s my go to now every period and I honestly wouldn’t be without it.I found I could feel the medium though and so I ordered a small and that was perfect for me. For reference I’m a 44 year old 5ft 1 woman who has had both a normal delivery and a c-section.

This is being use by my 21 year old daughter. In typical fashion all I’ve managed to get out of her is that it’s comfortable in use and perfectly okay. It’s similar to the others that she has.

I was open to the idea of using a menstrual cup as I have always used tampons. Recently I’ve noticed the tampons have changed and the certain brand I used have now changed from the smooth plastic applicator, back to a rough kind of cardboard that can nip on application. Disappointed, although at the same time I fully understand why non recyclable plastic waste has to stop being produced for everyone’s sake. So, this menstrual cup is a brilliant alternative. It is reusable and easy enough to insert. It saves money in the long run, and more importantly it is helping towards an healthier environment.

This is the second brand that I have tried and I prefer this brand of Menstrual Cup as I found it super soft and much easier to pull out, it might be the other brand I have is larger so the silicone is naturally harder I’m not sure. I’m using this size for when my glow is light . For does who have never used Menstrual Cupa before I would recommend looking at tutorial videos for tips. I store mine in a small glass dessert container as I don’t like the fabric pouch provided.

I’ve been using menstrual cups for a while now and I’m glad I gave this one a try. It’s the best I’ve had! It’s soft but not too soft and flexible meaning it won’t irritate my bladder and it stays put without leaks. The stem has a small drop at the end which makes it different and so much better than others when I need to empty and clean it. No more desperately clinging on with my nails hoping I don’t pinch myself! The cup is inserted easily. I fold one side down and then fold the cup in half. This allows it to gently open when inserted without discomfort. I like the fabric pouch that comes with it. After sterilising I pop it in there and in my bathroom drawer. The cup hasn’t moved or irritated me at all during day to day activities and cycling.Beginners or those looking to replace their previous cup or wanting another, I’d say this is it. Give it a try. I would choose it every time over very well known brands.
