“This cavesson is great in that it is soft, easily fitted, very easy to attach a bit to it, including whilst actually bitting the horse as you can attach one side and easily slip the bit into the mouth and then quickly and easily attach to the other side with the clip. It mostly stays in the correct place although the noseband has a slight tendency to move a couple of cm around the nose when lunging. The noseband is nicely padded without it being overly bulky. It does not move enough to affect the horse. The headpiece is narrow enough to be able to put an ordinary browband onto it which I have done to stop the headpiece sliding back down my horses neck. The side pieces don´t go anywhere near the eyes, even if the cavesson moves slightly. The rings on the front of the noseband are good in that they are not noisy or jangly when being used but are in good position for using them. All in all, very satisfied with this product and highly recommend. Highly recommend Millbry Hill as well as they sent out detailed measurements of the cavesson to me before I purchased, including measuring the width of the headpiece.”
