“This is the first year I have used Topspec Stud Balancer. My mare is a good doer so I have to be careful about laminitus and Topspec specialise in manufacturing products to help to control it. My pony mare started off on Topspec Stud balancer for good doers which I then changed to the other stud balancer as I thought the foal was taking quite a lot out of the mare. Having the foal hasnt taken anything out of the mare as I want her in the correct condition for the show ring. Her filly foal was 3 weeks late so when it did arrive it had plenty of condition and nice and rounded. My vet remarked on how strong and rounded the foal was at 2 weeks of age. I am a big believer in putting good quality feed in to the mare so that you can see the benefit in the foal when it is born therefore giving it a good start in life. I will definately keep on using Topspec stud balancer all the time. My foal is tucking into the mares feed. The pellets are just three right size for her small mouth.
