“It is very economical, 100l liter lasts us more than a year for 3-7 chickens. We have sometimes some wet patches in the night coop or night box but this fresh bed is easy to partially clean this out and save the dry bits. Love the smell and feel of it.”

In some batches the smell is quite strong which isn't pleasant, however this bedding works well for our hens.
This doesn't absorb as well as sawdust, but it works better if we give them a very thick layer of it (Dengie)
I still recommend it because it's much cheaper than sawdust.”
