“The cherry cake was for friends moving home, who needed cheering up. I don't think it lasted more than a few hours, as an email within the day of its delivery said " it was delicious!". Think that says it all!”
“Bought for my husband's birthday earlier this month and although it is impossible to compete with the cherry medeira from his childhood, this was still much enjoyed. I loved that it was a bit boozy. Its a solid cake, not unlike fruit cake - but not quite as heavy. Later in the week, we enjoyed it with homemade custard - though it didn't need it as it was still fresh.”
