“I was a professional trombone player. I took up the normal D tin whistle and it gave me great pleasure. Loved the sound of the low D. Purchased many cheap whistles off the internet all very poor and most people will know what I've been through. Thinking along the lines that you get what you pay for. I Purchased the Setanta. Immediately I got the sound I was hoping for. I struggled with the bottom F, E and D but got it in the end. My top notes are flat but I'm sure that's me, somehow, but I think with practice I'll get there. Lovely sound. Solidly made if it was a car, it would be a VW.”
