Its a no nonsense shoulder rest thats kinda pretty. Pretty and perfect. The feet are made of plastic and wont ever scuff the instrument.

My old shoulder rest broke so I went online and decided to order this from McNeela as all my local music shops at the time were closed due to Covid-19 restrictions. Although I thought the postage was a little expensive for such a small item, the delivery was quick and problem-free. This shoulder rest is cheerful and easy to use and I love the light-coloured wood which, apart from being made from mostly sustainable material, makes a pleasant change from from the often dark plastic that some others in the same price range are made from. I really like its pronounced curvature that accommodates the clavicle bone. The only downside I have noticed so far is that the rubberised grips on the legs are not so 'grippy' and sometimes slide off of the instrument. I have countered this by gently sanding them with sandpaper and then applying some rosin to the fitting surfaces and it stays on now just fine. Overall a great product for the price and big thanks to McNeela for a fast and efficient service.
