“I was used to playing a bodhrán with a bulbous beater. The set I purchased did not come with a bulbous beater, so I decided to pick this one. It is well balanced and fits my hand and playing style well. There is a notch cut into the span of the beater that allows my finger to rest in the correct spot. This notch keeps the beater from sliding around while playing. It is my favorite beater out of the eight that i currently have.”
