I like the book since it starts with the basics - how to hold the banjo and the pick. It has useful exercises and a large selection of songs. I think that it is going to be very useful to me, a brand new Irish banjo player, to help me build up my expertise in playing the Irish banjo.

Like having a teacher at home Books verry complete, progressive and detailed.Slow recording very clear with emphasis for the lilting rythm. After a while you really have to increase the speed of it while playing along. Still it keeps the special rythm.
