A Demo CD with all tunes from the book is also available. Sarah McQuaid was born in Spain, raised in Chicago, and now resides in Dublin. She took up the guitar at the age of nine and discovered the DADGAD tuning ten years later while playing with an Irish band in France. Since 1990 she has been the guitarist and vocalist with the group Carnloch, who have recorded two albums and toured extensively in the States. She currently works as a freelance writer continuing to perform solo and with the band.
