Gallen Cross Screen Printed Bodhrán
This cross is reproduced from a 10th century carving at Gallen Priory.
The cross represents eternal life - its horizontal axis being the earthly world and the vertical axis representing the heavenly world, both meeting in a union in the centre. The whole figure may symbolise the dilemma of man standing on reason while wresting with the unconscious and unknowable.
This is a great quality 12" bodhrán which features a very attractive Celtic design screen printed onto the bodhrán head and is made by McNeela Music.
