“Keeps the inside of the flute from drying out and cracking. Haven't used it on the bodhran yet so can't comment but I imagine it'll keep the skin in good condition”

“Got this oil for my wooden flute. Had to contact Mcneela to make sure this is for wooden flutes... and sure enough it's intended for wooded flutes and of course the leather Irish drums. [I just wish the Mcneela cleaning kit was still available for purchase] hope this helps. Good day.”

“Great quality oil. I've been using it on my new fife and it has been helping to develop the sound of the instrument. My cats knocked the bottle over so I'll need to get another one soon.”
