“Living in California (and no, I did not vote for Trump) and being able to find a proper-sized instrument bag for a Irish Banjo was virtually impossible. Fortunately, I was able to locate one through McNeela and it is perfect. It is well-made, just the right size, and has all the padding and pockets one would want in a gig bag. It was also reasonably priced, and McNeela's service as above reproach. I highly recommend them”

“This gig bag works as a backpack but not as a hand carry. The handle is positioned too far up towards the neck so that when loaded with the instrument, the weight of the resonator pulls down on the bag making it impossible to carry horizontally. At that point you are carrying a vertical instrument and needing to do so with two hands to avoid injury to your wrist. This makes the bag useless to me. In addition the zipper seems to be compromised in the shipping packaging and will not fully go around the instrument without having the two parts of the zipper meet at the top left corner because neither can negotiate the corner. Disappointed.”

“Exactly what I was looking for! I had a cheaper gig bag and the clipped ends of the strings ate through the material within about a week. This one’s reinforced headstock area has held up much better.”
