Tuneable Alto Aluminium Bb Whistle
This is a very strong aluminium bodied whistle, in the key of "Bb". It has an ABS whistle head, it's tuneable and very easy to tune.
It produces a solid traditional tone, a sound you can only get from an aluminium whistle. An affordable, and excellent professional looking whistle. Perfect for slow airs and back up singers.

“I love the tone of this whistle and the ease of playing in the high register, much prefer it to the polymer version. I almost have the full set of Dixon's and have been playing them for many years. “Another gem! Fantastic whistle, very light, great tuning, easy fingering and the Tony Dixon mouthpieces are perfect for me. Unlike other whistles these mouthpieces allow me to play very quietly or really loud and get the breathy sound for playing a bit jazzy very easily”

“This is the real deal PW if you like to find a singable key for others playing with you. Bb with this alto PW is the answer. Next, this PW is a heavy duty tuneable penny whistle. It may have the best sound of all of my PW's and I have a bunch. Finally, I can read music and now tunes that were not in the key that I want, this whistle allows me to read and play directly. McNeela products and assistance is second to none-I'm dealing with them from across the pond!”

“It is a mellow tune, compared to the "Generation Bb", sounds a bit between tin whistle and recorder, while the latter sounds a bit between tin whistle and transverse flute. All the notes are well formed, especially while switching between 5 above fingers up and the one with all the holes covered in the second octave, and no cracks. It is a welcome addition to the "Generation" sound.”
