“Polymer Soprano High D Whistle (DX001) by Tony Dixon I've just started to self-learn the whistle in the past two weeks. Bought various High D cheaper end of the market whistles to try out, This included Sweetone, Waltons and the Oak, which has been the most comfortable, so far. Been away this weekend and got back to find this wee beauty sitting on the carpet under my letterbox. After unpacking, started playing my three basic tunes. My partner couldn't believe the difference in sound and tune compared to the other three, whilst I couldn't believe how smooth and easy it was to get the tunes out of it. Can't speak for other whistles as as an expert, but, as a complete novice, this is the whistle I'll be learning on from here on in. I would definately recommend this as a starter. Big thanks to the staff at McNeela for the swift and well wrapped despatch over here to the highglands of Bonnie Scotland.”

“Very responsive This little and very light whistle is very responsive and easy to play. It have a clean and clear sound and easily switch the to the higher scale. Being a novice and after having already some experience with several tin whistles - it is a great relief to play on such a friendly instrument.”

“Good sounding High D and good price I was searching many different High D whistles. I'm very particular about the sound that they produce, so when I heard this Whistle I immediately loved it. The sound is high as it should be, has a nice chiff to it that doesn't kill the ears, well made, and durable for travel(still use a case though just to be safe). I'm a beginner in Whistles but I already own three haha, I'm in love with this wind instrument. Very well done. Also for the price its very good for me as I live in the USA so it was decently priced and shipped quickly to me. Thank you McNeela for the great whistle!!! And happy whistling to those who decide to get one!”
