Very responsive This little and very light whistle is very responsive and easy to play. It have a clean and clear sound and easily switch the to the higher scale. Being a novice and after having already some experience with several tin whistles - it is a great relief to play on such a friendly instrument.

Good sounding High D and good price I was searching many different High D whistles. I'm very particular about the sound that they produce, so when I heard this Whistle I immediately loved it. The sound is high as it should be, has a nice chiff to it that doesn't kill the ears, well made, and durable for travel(still use a case though just to be safe). I'm a beginner in Whistles but I already own three haha, I'm in love with this wind instrument. Very well done. Also for the price its very good for me as I live in the USA so it was decently priced and shipped quickly to me. Thank you McNeela for the great whistle!!! And happy whistling to those who decide to get one!

Great whistle! This is such a sweet whistle, I have a Feadog D, Clarke Sweet tone D and Generation D and this new DX is my new favourite. Easy to play, sounds amazing and look good. Thank you McNeela for great service and posting!

Recently got back into playing, with a Tony Dixon polymer low D whistle, which sounded great, so was looking to expand my quiver of whistles. Went with the matching high D, as was so impressed with the low D and was glad I did. The sound is really good, a million miles away from the “school” whistles; and at just over £10 an absolute bargain. Even the high notes sound good, not scraping and grating (defo agree this would be good for kids to learn on!). The whistle is easy to play, and has really helped learning the tunes and fingering for faster tracks which need more air on the low whistle. Looking forward to building my repertoire on it to get involved in some sessions! Highly recommend, great product and great fast service from McNeela as always.
