“I bought 3 sets of Clareen Banjo strings recently for a 17 Fret short Scale Irish Tenor Banjo. Got strings for a 19 fret but they were changed when I returned them. I have a Gretch 17 fret Laydie Belle Tenor Banjo that I got at McNeela and for some reason the A string winding has broken within two weeks and I have to replace the strings. This is the second time this has happened. I had tried using the D'Addarior but they sounded awful so I went back to the Clareen. Any advice.”
