“Nice unit the little Uke, for sure, strings not so hot tho, and tuning is constant, whether that's the strings or the heads. I'm putting on some decent strings and hopefully that'll cure the issue.”

“What a bargain! And not bad at all for a plastic ukulele, including intonation. I changed the original strings to Anuenue Clear Water with Fremont Black Line low G. Certainly playable. Now, it can travel anywhere with me :) NB - I pick with flesh, no nails, so it may sound completely different to those who pick with nails.”

“I bought my lovely McNeela Moonshine uke last year as a gift to myself. It is such a wonderful ukulele and a delight to play. It's extremely well made and has a great tone. I highly recommend this gem of an instrument from McNeela. I'm tempted to buy the Sunbeam too but I'm hoping they'll consider producing a concert size some time.”

“Thank you Paraic. Got my CF soprano in great nick and adapted a G string for curiosity and it sounds magic to my liking anyway. Although not a Fornby I'm having fun as it sits on the coffee table beckoning frequent playability and never to crack or warp. Just need to get precise on chording as to be expected...Cheers from Ontario Canada.”
