“I ordered this strap from this page and received something that resembles this strap but is not this strap. It has two metal button-like pieces on one end and then no slit on the other end to hook onto a strap knob. Maybe you sent the wrong thing? Is this for a bodhrán maybe? I don’t know but I was planning on using the strap for my banjo and this is not going to work for that. Confused.”

“This is a fantastic leather strap! It required a bit of figuring out, but it was certainly worth it. I highly recommend it. Two tips I learned from my experience in buying this for my bodhrán: 1. When unscrewing the screws on the sides of the bodhrán in order to attach the strap, you may need a longer screw than the one which is provided on the bodhrán, as the leather strap is very thick. 2. For additional security and comfort, tie a suit tie or other strap around the leather strap so that you can use it as a loophole and put your arm through it. This was an idea presented by the legendary Rónán Ó Snodaigh. All in all, I highly recommend this strap (and, of course, the McNeela Performance Bodhrán as well)!”
