“Unfortunately this purchase was not a good experience. Order delivery was fine, arrived next day. My daughter began painting our very large shed/workshop only to find that Maxwells had sent the wrong colour! (Sod's Law meant that we had opened the first tin of three purchased, it was not the Forest Mushroom we had ordered and paid for. The other two tins were the right shade) When we contacted them it took three to four days to establish what colour they had sent us as we were not prepared to remove all of the paint used and to start again. They could not tell us what colour they had sent, despite the fact that we sent them photos of it both 'in situ' and in the tin. We finally had to tell them that we thought it was a shade called Dusky Gem. in the end, some ten days after the saga had begun, and after various chasers to them we received two tins of Dusky Gem to replace the colour we wanted from the start. Not great.”
