“I bought cornfield anuual, instant sunshine and native general purpose mixes. Seed arrived on time, in great condition and beautifully packaged with helpful booklet. All instructions were followed as closely as I was able, and I planted up both the front and back lawns, but unfortunately only a few flowers different to what were already in the lawn came up, two red poppies, a couple of corn cockles. and some ox-eye daisies. Perhaps it has been due to the drought conditions this year? I am simply not able to water the lawns. I am disappointed, but I don't believe it was anything to do with the seed provided which was of very high quality. I held some back to sow again - Meadow Mania could you advise whether to get best results this should be done this autum or next spring? many thanks.”

“Have so many seedlings growing - am not sure how others haven’t managed success? I did cover in netting to stop birds getting the seeds and watered regularly.”

“I set my wildflower seeds last year, and unfortunately I am very dissapointed. Hardly any nice flowers coming through, other than what looks like purple nettles, maybe three poppies...I think I had a mixture but can't remember exactly what sort...I was looking forward to a nice selection, but all I'm looking at is what looks like weedy scrub land.”

“We only bought the smallest size because we are going to raise them in a polytunnel, hopefully that way we will get a better germination, it will be done by a local charity, Innovate , they can work inside, rather than being out in the cold or wet weather. We will then plant them out in the wildflower meadow that we have been creating at a local hospital, there are more than enough seeds in this small pack for our needs, and at a good price.”
