MEAD9 Wildflower Meadow Grass & Wildflower Seed mixture for chalk/calcareous soils.
This is our wildflower meadow mix which is best suited to chalk based soils.
18 wild flower and 7 grass seed species It is a mixture of 80% grass and 20% wildflowers . Will cope with chalky/ limestone soils.
The application rate is 4 grams per square metre or yard.
The Poppies and Ox- eye daisy may dominate in the first 2 years, then the other species will come to the fore. Having a wide range of species will extend the season of flowering . Once established, the aim is to have species of different height , colour and appearance from May through to August.
