“The plugs were excellent but unfortunately the severe weather was against us and none of them survived in spite of protection against deer and rabbits and regular watering. It must have been the scorching sun. Next time we may try with them in a wildflower seed mix. Louise”

“The plugs seemed like good quality little plants, but I planted them in my meadow (which I had cut, so that the plugs would get light), and watered them reasonably, and they failed to thrive. All 150 of them. I could identify them for about two months, and then went on vacation and after that they were overgrown by the rest of the meadow. Not sure whether it was me, or if yellow rattle is fussy, or... ?? Not clear how I should rate these because they might be great and it might be my fault, but be warned that yellow rattle is trickier than you might think. Pay attention.”
