“It’s a total fallacy to say this is a “simple” process to add wildflower plugs to an existing lawn. The plugs themselves were of good quality but tiny. I followed the instructions by the book, but they were quickly swamped by the existing grass despite my best efforts to keep them clear. Trying to maintain around 150 individual plugs in a growing lawn was impossible. In the end, a waste of £180. If you’re thinking of adding wildflowers to an established lawn, be aware it’s far more work than implied.”
