First, the packaging. Hats off to Marloe for using a sustainable materiel for their packaging and box. And making it an experience to open. No other watch brand (even those with fancy wood and leather lined boxes) offer an experience like this!
The watch is quite simply gorgeous. It has a noticeable heft to it and the bezel action wouldn’t feel out of place on a watch costing five times as much. This is a quality time piece and my only criticism would be that the supplied strap is quite difficult to attach to the watch and I prefer the watch to arrive already attached.
This is the first Marloe in my collection and I’ve already got two other references on order!”

I started my voyage with MARLOE with a beautiful simple GADA called SOLENT TIMER and I fell in love with the company instantly.
I waited with impatience till their stock is back and I couldn’t resist the beauty of the GOLD KING , the TEAM is very friendly, the delivery is fast and exact and the presentation box is an amazing experience by itself , then you meet the little beauty hidden inside and it took me a while to take it out , I just wanted to look at it first , the contrast between the yellow and black is simply beautiful, the bezel works smoothly, very easy to read , the dimensions are in the safe zone for a watch that has 30 ATM plus , and in a world full of waves and electronics it is antimagnetic and that is great .
M still in HONEY MOON phase with my 310 but I have a feeling it’s going to be a very long relationship.
It’s my second MARLOE and it won’t be the last and I highly recommend it for both watch enthusiasts or a person searching for a beautiful tough dive watch that can be worn daily .

“I’ve had my Marloe Morar 310 Gold King for coming up to a couple of months now, and it has exceeded all my expectations. It combines fantastic style with outstanding functionality, and the lume is some of the brightest and clearest I’ve seen on any watch. I’ve taken it into the sea and through the surf, and it has performed flawlessly every time.
What first drew me to this model was the ethos and direction behind the Morar, especially its tie-in with Search and Rescue. For me, this is more than just a timepiece.. It’s a tool. As a Search and Rescue crew member, I needed something reliable in tough conditions, and the Morar 310 has proven itself time and again on both missions and training exercises. It has become a trusted companion in every environment.
I’ve dressed mine on a sailcloth strap with yellow stitching, which I think pairs brilliantly with the watch. It looks the part in the office during the day, yet it’s instantly ready for action when the call comes in.
If I were to add anything, it would be a date window—just a personal preference, and I know it’s not what the Morar 310 is about, but for me it would make an already fantastic watch absolutely perfect.

“It's a great watch, if you're a fan of diver watches in general, I think you'll get a kick out of it. There's a lot of nods to classic divers, at least to me.
The lugs and crown guards remind me of the early Panerai divers, the bezel insert with its sapphire reminds me of a Blancpain 50 Fathoms. The chunky squared off indices have a Breitling Superocean look about them. Hands a similarity to Doxa but with some skeleton you might see on a Seamster, and the finishing you'd find on an Omega or Submariner.
But... It also feels unique and I'm not suggesting these features have been borrowed, which is fairly difficult with a diver these days to be unique, but they've managed. Even though I've never been diving in my life and if I do I'm probably not going to wear any watch... This one can do it.
I appreciate it appears to acknowledge most buyers don't need this, but it's nice knowing it really can do it. It's not just a pretty bezel stuck on an OEM case. This is truly a dive watch, the nice hidden HE valve seems to be a nod to that. The luminous coating on the hands and indices is two tone, similar to an Omega PlantOcean, the 12 index, pip on the bezel and minute hands are a green, while the others are more like a teal. (I don't know the official colours). The extremely legible dial, topped up with a reassuringly heavy bezel - I've nudged bezels before, it seems unlikely to happen here. But it's not too stiff, purposeful if I had to say.
After owning a couple weeks, I've noticed a lot of small details. The dial is almost like slate, I don't know how they describe it, but it's textured without being distracting.
The M on the crown lines up perfectly when you screw it in - though I appreciate I might just be lucky - but it's the only Marloe I've had.
The 310 is a nod to loch Morar, the deepest freshwater body in the UK and is 310m deep. On the case bag the loch monster Morag features, Vostock have their Scuba Dude, Marloe have Morag... I'm backing the monster.
As for the overall design the yellow/gold is influenced by the search and rescue helicopters. I don't know this for sure, but some details I think are inspired by these are the black lines on the crown guard, like the instructions you see dotted around the choppers. The red for both the final bezel numbers and seconds tip. The hands look to resemble the rotors, but again I might be looking for these and forcing a link that isn't there - but I'm enjoying them nonetheless.
Definitely worth seeing one in the flesh, but I'm still in the honeymoon phase.”
