“Like all the other (4) Marloe watches I have the Glenbeg White is realy well made of quality materials.
On delivery the watch was running about plus 10 seconds per day. However from experience I know that this could be due to the postal service. Now 3 weeks later the Miyota 9039 movement installed is running at plus 4 seconds per day which is well within the specifications for this movement.
The dial, markers and hands are very legible even at low light levels. The lume although not very bright does last all night. Although I live quite a "non active" life the auto wind mechanism keeps the watch ticking nicely.
I specified the excellant Marloe Milanese bracelet on my watch but IMHO I think a nice leather would look better.”
“Not my first Marlowe, but probably the watch I currently wear the most. It sits comfortably (milanese strap) and is well sized for my wrist. Just a couple of minor negatives for me - the copper highlighting on the face, is just a little too “rose gold” for my personal tastes, but it’s not in your face. The other is the case back crystal being obscured by the Ardnamurchan text; I would have preferred the text to be an engraving on the watch-back surround, or on the rotor perhaps, as I feel it obscures the movement. Both minor points but which I think detract a little from a beautiful watch.”
