“It is a special watch amongst a score and more or special Marloe timepieces. It has only been on my wrist a few short hours and we haven’t fully bonded yet. I took my Marloe Portuguesier (Haskell Green) off to be replaced on my wrist by the Glenbeg. My Marloes work themselves into me and I know the Glenbeg will soon be hard to remove and replace with another MWC piece. I have an Omega Seamaster 2018 and this piece is superior in looks and heart than that watch. I love it and that feeling will only deepen in the coming days, weeks and years that I measure with this triumph of a timepiece. I cannot lie, I have been trying to embrace whisky as a drink for a number of years. I have been fascinated by the variety of the drink but never been able to surmount the feeling that they all taste the same. My admiration for Oliver and Gordon have created over the last decade piqued this interest with the Glenbeg and I am certain swayed my pallet. I like a single malt, and the odd blend now, and look forward to one day being able to justify indulging in cask 233.”
