“I had recently read a nice review of Marloe Watch Company in Worn and Wound, that led me to their website. In reviewing their watch editions, I made the decision to purchase their Solent Timer Rescue edition. I am extremely pleased with the purchase.
Ordinarily, I am not a huge fan of diver watches, as they’re not my “thing”. However, I was favorably impressed with the dial design, in orange with the very subtle white diagonal stripe pattern in the center of the dial. The watch fits my wrist nicely, keeping time as I expect it to for an automatic watch. The silicon strap exceeded my expectations on its comfort. My other watches have either been leather strap, or stainless-steel bracelet types. The packaging and presentation of the watch was one of the best I’ve seen in some time.
Based on the craftmanship of this watch, I will be checking out other watches in the Marloe line for a future purchase. Take a strong look at the Solent Timer and other watch offerings from Marloe Watch Company, they are worthy of examination.”
“The watch is beautiful and the service from Oliver was outstanding.
My one grip - the internal dial. Setting it is difficult because of where the gear disengages from the winder. I suspect that a fraction of a mm off the gear would solve the problem, and I can see I'm not the only one to note this.
Is the watch worth the money? Absolutely! And would I recommend Marloe watches? Without question.”
“Beautifully presented. Beautifully built. Seems to keep good time. Internal bezel maybe a little too sensitive but that would be the only concern.
Nothing else out there looks anything like this!”
“Loving the Solent Timer. The face is bright and clear, the case is a perfect size and I love the strap, The rubber is soft and flexible. I like the fact it has a 22mm lug width, which means I can swap over and use one of my NATO straps as well, when I fancy a change.”
