“What a lovely watch for the money, simple yet stylish so much so I already want to get the mesh braclet for more formal occassions than the rubber strap. The only small nighle is my old man eyesight sometimes sees the second hand as the minute hand on a quick glance but I still think it deserves top marks.”
“I always wanted a yellow watch. The Marloe is fantastic looking and has great specs. 42mm is usually my sweet spot but the Marloe looks on the wrist a tick smaller than that. Certainly great to know for folks with smaller wrists.
Another plus is the different color choices in watch bands. I loved that the website shows off some nice color combinations. Otherwise I'd never put a red strap on a yellow watch, but it looks mind-boggling cool!
On the downside, the inner bezel is hard, if not impossible, to set correctly and is, therefore, basically useless! The crown for setting the bezel is a screwed down one and every time you screw it in, the bezel moves slightly. Took me 5 minutes to align the bezel correctly.
Watch is also running a bit fast. Still within the specs of the movement but 1sec per hour is on the low side, considering a $500 price tag.
All in all a cool looking summer watch with some small shortcomings.
