“Already a Marloe fan, i purchased my first brand new one with the Sceptre Commander.
The enjoyment starts from the first moment of receiving and opening the box... You know what it is and the anticipation builds... It felt like a birthday party game of musical parcels, all I lacked was the music as I went through the layers
Opening the box is a delightful tease in itself - the quality outer package, the classy inner black watch box and then the discovery of the watch itself.
Superb and well matched on its quick release bracelet, but it is superbly matched, although lacking the micro adjustability of some brands - but quick and easy to remove a couple of sections to an appropriate size for my skinny wrist.
But with the quick release mechanism, it will rapidly change to any of my other Marloe leather straps.
The watch itself is beautiful dual-texture matte case, sapphire glass and the practical screw-down crown and a bi-directional 60 click bezel.
It has a beautiful deep blue multi-layer dial with floating luminous pontoons that highlights the different and quality materials used in this new watch.
It joins four other Marloes in my collection, but each have their own character and all get wrist time - although this new automatic is hogging the me time at present.

“Lovely watch in its simplicity. The silicone strap, a first for me is so comfortable. Also enjoy the slight blue reflections in certain light & angles. I keep thinking the crystal has a blue tint to it, but not so. The Miyota 9039 shows remarkable accuracy, I may have a nearly Chronometer example. Only very small observation is the bi-direction bezel is a little stiff. Overall very happy to add to my Marloe collection.”
