“My riding involves mainly B class and unclassified roads, excursions onto farm tracks and occasional very steep climbs into the local hills. In the short time I've had the bike and in the even shorter time that the weather has been dry enough to get out on it, I've found the 430CX is just perfect for my style of riding: the high torque motor provides an astonishing degree of boost when needed on steep ascents, the chunky tyres give excellent grip when off-road and the handlebar mounted front suspension lockout (this came as a surprise as I didn't see it mentioned in the description of the bike) means I don't have to stop when turning from a smooth track onto the rough stuff. I've a medical condition that means I can't walk much more than a couple of hundred metres without experiencing pain in my legs, but the 430CX allows me to ride for miles and miles without pain and enjoy our countryside again.”
