“A bright light with good points and not so good. Metal construction apart from the base plate, plastic. The wiring from the mains was not in the base plate with a manifold taking pins from the light unit which you would simply plug in. So wiring up is not easy if you have to do this up a ladder. You have to let the unit dangle down while you fiddle to connect the wires to the block in the unit which needs to be removed to attach the mains supply. You then need to replace the insulation sheet back in position while you screw back the wiring block into the unit. The screws needed to secure the unit to the base plate are in direct line with the two lights which makes it difficult to align a screw driver to secure the unit. These are small screws going into a plastic base and you need to be very careful they don't drop out while jointing up the unit to the base!”
