“The watch has a large clear blue face and the metal strap closes securely. I am delighted with the appearance and build of the product and consider that it was good value for money from this jeweller.”
“I like this watch a lot. Very nice design and also the features I was looking for: titanium for great looks, light weight and better scratch healing, solar charging for not having to change battery and lose water proofness, Seiko quartz movement for good precision. It does not have a sapphire window, but hardlex, which is usual at this price point for Seiko. Not necessarily a bad thing though, hardlex is supposedly more impact resistant than sapphire, although not as scratch resistant. Time will tell...
The colour of the dial is not the sharp blue as in the photos but more a dark navy. I like it as it is though, I think it adds on elegance.
One thing I love about this watch is how easy it is to adjust the band. Seiko went all the way to make it really easy. The pins snap easy in place and no danger to loose parts like in other bands I tried. I am also an owner of the Citizen BM7170-53L which is similar in features but has a band more difficult to work with. Also compared to that Citizen model, this Seiko has a more graceful, delicate design that goes better with my thin wrist.”
