“What can I say, I've had a few orders now from Love Logs and the quality is always top tier.
I used their oak splits to cook some amazing short ribs on my offset, and the flavour they imparted was superb.
The 10 inch size is perfect for my fire box and they burn evenly with a great level of smoke.

“To keep these going you need to mix with smaller logs or coal. They are so chunky they can stop combusting if there is not enough ambient temperature. That said, they make the food taste incredible and I do tend to use them every time I cook now.”

We actually do mention this on the product page, oak simply doesn't burn with a strong flame when compared to other woods... personally I prefer to use beech and ash for this reason, but I know a lot of people like to use oak for the flavour.
If you check out our other logs like apple and cherry, you'll find them both much easier burning 😁
