“I'm not a guru but this switch enables me to have 10gb on my home network and access to the internet on the same network instead of having two seperate networks in the home for 10gb and 1gb. It is a steep learning curve if you wish to use the router capabilities of this switch and you do need to follow the instructions, along with searching youtube for setup videos even if only using it as a switch. The two are totally separate (router use and switch use)”
