I am using these as cupboard lighting, general lighting, and I have a corner desk under some bookshelves that was very difficult to satisfactorily light - traditional desklamps left shadows or dark spots. THese mounted in a row under the bookshelf throw a very uniform bright useful light that has now made the desk so much more pleasant to use. The "linkability" and no need to mess about with an LED driver made it the simplest solution for me”
