“The light is a quadrant shape in cross-section. Something not implied, but they are supplied with plastic click brackets to mount them on the right angle so the concave light shines directly downwards (if you so wish). If you want to mount them at the back of your kitchen unit so it throws the light forward across the work surface this can also be done using similar brackets also supplied. I bought the longest 550mm unit and the measurement is accurate but does not include the extra length created when attaching the power lead so this should be taken into account if you're mounting under a standard 600mm unit. The switch on the light is smaller than you think. No plug is fitted or supplied, which is great is you need to fish the wire through holes but not great if you were expecting a plug. I wasn't overly impressed with the amount of light. It is sufficient for the what I required but I'm still glad to have bought the longest unit. Website states 8 watts of light but unit says 6.4W, but I may be understanding these figures wrong.”
