“I used as pair of these to replace a pair of 5ft fluorescent fittings. These are much brighter. Very easy to fit and very light weight. If they last as long as claimed I'll be very happy.”

“One star. Poor. Cheap and it shows it. I found the mounting brackets needed squeezing in to allow the floppy light unit to latch in position; in doing so the brackets became deformed and needed surgery. They are relatively cheap and give a good light.”

“This 18w LED Batten was used to replace a 36w florescent light fitting, I was slightly skecptical that it would give the same amount of illumination, but if anything it is slightly brighter. Installation was simple with only two wires to connect (live & neutral, no earth required) and there is a generious length of wire to make the connection. The fitting is as light as a feather and was secured with ordaniary wall plugs and screws (supplied) to the plasterboard celling. Light is instant when switched on and there is no flickering associated with old florescent tubes. What is not to like? it uses half the energy, is compact and stylish. Additionally there is nowhere for dust to collect. I can't resist switching it on just to have a look.”
