As they only light my back garden under motion sensor, I have not used them much yet, but they work and look good quality. Setting distance and time for the sensor is easy.

I needed a stoutly constructed outdoor light where the heads were capable of being moved through several planes. This unit fulfils that requirement, and provided incredibly good luminosity.

I have not yet had time to wire this in but I have fixed it to a backing board and this is secured to the wall of our garage. The lamp system looks good but the lamps section is secured to the base by two tiny allen-key grub screws. Goodness knows what it must be like trying to secure this lamp direct to an outside wall at the top of a ladder in winter-time. How many tiny grub screws might fall from cold gloved hands and fall hidden for ever into gravel beneath?? This is therefore a curious design fault and surely could be rectified? It was due to this system of allen-key grub screw fixing that I decided to fit the entire lamp system onto a wooden backing board before even attempting to secure it to the outside wall. The accompanying paper instructions are 'pictures' only and not therefore entirely comprehensive: I had to telephone LYCO for advice about this. For example, why does the back of the motion detector say 'L,M & H' (presumably low, medium and high) when it is actually referring to range when 'N,M and F' (near, medium and far) or even estimated metres ranges (5m,10m, and 15m) would be so much more helpful?
