“This wall light is only suitable to wire up when the wiring actually comes through the wall. Cables that access the top or bottom of the light prevent the fitting flush to the wall. We tried cutting out a small piece on the top of the rear fixing to accommodate wiring but this did not work and kept "shorting out" the electricity. The item itself would have been good had it contained features for top wiring as well.”

“If this review was based on looks and build quality then I would give it five stars but…. The designer of this lamp should be made to install it. I might have sausage fingers but trying to wire into the plastic box which contains the “chocolate box” I found impossible. I ended up just removing the box and wiring direct to the block. The lamp isn’t being installed outside so no issue in doing this. I also found that getting the two bulbs into their holders difficult in the extreme and now dread ever changing them. I know the saying you get what you pay for but surely manufacturers have a process for checking all aspects of design, build and installation?”

“Look and work great, however difficult to fit due to mounting bracket design, as cable needs pass to the left or right of bracket and enter bottom of connector box, would be easier if cable could pass through bracket as space very limited. The version I was replacing had a full box as the mounting block and a much easier design to work with.”
