“This is a beautiful light and looks very expensive. However, it is very big so is only suitable for homes with very high ceilings! It is also exceptionally heavy. For this reason we sadly had to return it. Unfortunately, I have given this item 3 stars as I won't likely order from Lighting Direct again. I was disappointed to read that you need to pay to return items that are unsuitable! I don't think this is acceptable considering that the only way to purchase from Lighting Direct is online! This has greatly put me off the company. I ordered 2 very expensive lights and had to return both of them at a cost of £20!”

“Lovely looking light over our dining room table. Looks more expensive than what they cost and have seen similar twice as much. The shades are classy looking. The only complaint is that the shades go at an angle out. They do not sit flush. We only realised this once the light was up and we put the shades on last as they are crystal glass. If anyone has any ideas how to resolve this would be welcome. The bulbs that go with this lamp is also worth buying.”

“We ordered two of these lights at the beginning of November when I came to fit them one assembled easily the other was impossible to assemble. I then contacted customer services to obtain a replacement. To cut a long story short it took lighting direct two weeks to get me a replacement one. The customer service was very “clunky” as there was no telephone contact because of COVID. The reply times to my emails was anything from 1 hour to 24 hours which I think added to the turnaround time. With emails the messages can be vague and need clarification. Returning the faulty product was not easy, once again causing delays with emails. Lighting Direct have been working within COVID since March which I think is enough time to get communication speeded up a bit. A Mobile phone for the customer services section? The lights now are up and look lovely, from ordering to initial delivery all good but if you encounter a fault then you have a lengthy wait and many frustrating email exchanges to deal with.”
