“These are so awful, it’s hard to find the words. Firstly, they look so much worse in the flesh than the picture. The glass shade is impressive in that it looks like plastic, despite not being. Being the anything-for-an-easy-life type I thought “well they’re here now, let’s get them up”. One didn’t work, the other one did work but when we went to fiddle with the bulb the glass thread made the whole unit turn, making getting the shade off nigh on impossible. The nice touch was the rain water collection bit at the bottom (with hole for easy drainage). After one downpour rain had already collected into this handy little reservoir, which as things go is a unique concept in an external electrical light fitting. They were very inexpensive. You get what you pay for.”

“There’s a large joining seam running through the diameter of the glass dome. Which doesn’t look very appealing. I’ve emailed lighting direct on two occasions now, to give the opportunity to rectify. Unfortunately no reply. Be mindful before making a purchase as delivery and return costs are on you. Even if you believe to product to be at fault, you won’t receive a reply. Fingers crossed we get a refund.”
