The Garrett single light outdoor wall fitting features a decorative back plate, with extending arm and coach style hanging lantern, it's made from tough polycarbonate in a black finish with clear glass panes and PIR sensor. This traditional styled outdoor wall fitting looks stylish and is perfect for lighting the outside of your property, the PIR sensor has a range of up to 8 metre and 150° and can be overridden for constants on. “Very nice product but had problems wiring to the mains as A, it doesn't come ready wired and B, very fiddly trying to wire it up AFTER securing to the wall especially as the wire is designed to come out of the side and not the bottom.”

“You get what you pay for - read the description carefully! +ve - a good price, quick shipping and looks good mounted on the wall -ve - made of plastic (not metal), tricky to mount and wire up, and the PIR sensor is incredibly sensitive and not adjustable - that means the light spends most of the hours of darkness going on and off (we can see no reason why), to the extent that we have turned it off at the mains. But we have an attractive wall ornament!”

Sorry you are disapointed with your choice. At £16.50 this light has proved to be extremely popular not least for its very competitive price as it includes the following features. Multiple very positive reviews are shown on our website. A PIR light is designed to trigger with movement. PIR sensor with up to 8 metre and 150° detection range PIR can be over-ridden for constant on Recommended mounting height of 2 - 2.5 metres I would suggest to check it is mounted at the correct height as advise as this would have an effect on performance. “Arrived in good time Reasonably easy to assemble. Fitting rather strange as drill holes are NOT horizontally aligned....weird....need to use a spirit level on the lantern THEN finally it's secured by the tiniest black plastic covered nuts on very short threads. Having dropped one of the tiny nuts it took two people 30 minutes to find it . Not sure of durability and securedness to the wall.”
